Privacy and Confidentiality
Each group discussion will be two hours in length. Each individual interview will be one hour in length.
Participation in group discussions and interviews is limited to adults aged 18 and over. However, caregivers of children and youth with disabilities are welcome to attend.
Your personal information will be collected by Delaney and Associates in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It is also governed by the Privacy Act and is being collected in accordance with the Treasury Board Directive on Privacy Practices.
Demographic information shared in the registration form will be compiled and summarized in a report to the Canada Revenue Agency.
American Sign Language (ASL), langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), captioning, and other accommodations will be provided as needed. This information will be collected, and the project team will report on the number and type of accommodations requested.
Recognizing the value of your lived experience and expertise, a $200 honourarium will be provided for two-hour group discussions, and a $100 honorarium will be provided for one-hour individual interviews.
To provide you with an honourarium, we will be collecting your name and email. This information will not be shared with anyone outside of Delaney and Associates, and this data will be destroyed once honourarium payment has been confirmed.
We request that you attend either a group consultation session or an individual interview; individuals will not be paid more than once for their participation.

Delaney is an experienced engagement and communications firm that specializes in planning, implementing, reporting, and evaluating engagement processes. We believe in developing engagement processes that ensure those who are impacted by or interested in a project have influence in the results. We have been contracted to plan, implement, and report on this engagement process, on behalf of the CRA.
